About
It all started when…
The O.P. Chaney Grain Elevator has stood as a symbol of Canal Winchester’s agricultural roots for generations. Rather than letting this historic landmark fade into the past, we’re restoring and reimagining it as Elevate 1828, a one-of-a-kind event venue that honors its history while creating new opportunities for the community to gather, celebrate, and connect.
By transforming the grain elevator into an event space, we are preserving a piece of local heritage and giving it new purpose. Instead of sitting unused, this structure will become a vibrant destination for weddings, markets, cultural events, and more. Every event held here will add to its story, bridging the past with the present.
This project is about more than just restoration—it’s about legacy. Elevate 1828 will be a place where history meets celebration, where memories are made, and where our community can come together in a space that honors its roots while embracing its future.
