The Canal Winchester History Center is part of the Canal Winchester Area Historical Society’s historic campus and serves as the community’s primary home for local preservation and education. Inside, guests can explore six unique rooms of rotating and permanent exhibits that highlight early settlement, canal-era transportation, agriculture, small-town life, and the evolution of the city through the 19th and 20th centuries.

- Non Historical Society Members: $7 for CW Museum
- Non Historical Society Members: $10 for both CW Museum and National Barber Museum- Historical Society Members have various tiers of membership ranging from one visit per year for free up to more depending on level.

More Than a Museum
The Canal Winchester History Center is part of a larger effort to preserve and celebrate the city’s heritage. The campus also includes the historic O.P. Chaney Grain Elevator, an 1880 agricultural landmark being transformed into Elevate 1828, a future event and gathering space. When events are not underway, visitors can book guided tours to explore the interior of this iconic structure and learn how it supported local farmers and commerce.
