Founder's Day

History will come alive at Canal Winchester Founders Day as we offer the experience to live life in the eighteen-sixties. Meet Abraham Lincoln and hear him deliver the Gettysburg Address, listen to Civil War era music and enjoy a picnic lunch while children play lawn games on the grass.

Additionally, we offer the opportunity to participate in a civil war re-enactment.

Join us at 9:00 AM as we dedicate the day to Pvt. Alfred Cannon, a resident of Canal Winchester and  Union Soldier who died in a POW camp during the Civil War.
